THE FEAST OF PURIM

Purim, symbolizes under this call, the celebration of the period of mourning and weeping over the church 1st demolition, on June 18th, 2001, which was turned to a period of Joy and celebration, Esther 9:22.

1.  Case of street naming of the church in 1997 was won and the coalition of the enemies over that issue failed.
2.  Fencing round the church land between Dec 1999-2000.
3.  1st Demolition of the house of God on June 18th-2001.

This are the incidents that happens that led to the celebration of the Feast of Purim.

On June 18th 2001, at exactly 4pm, the demolition team and CDA in the neighborhood area conspired against the church to demolish the church building and there was weeping, Pastor, calm the members of the church down that God will fight for himself, the second day which was 19th June 2001, Pastor travelled to the mountain to asked God the reason why such thing should happen, but God gave him 3 words from the bible 1st for himself Isaiah. 42:5-9 2nd for the congregation Ish.30:8, 10-17 3rd the message Ps 83:9-12 for the ministers as an assignment for prayers on the land.

Pastor returned Friday 22nd June 2001, and when it was 24th of June 2001 which was Sunday his sermon according to the directive of God to the congregation was ‘Invaders were invaded’, through what God told him, that we should pursue and will overcome and we will recover, and the journey started from that period, even though we pass through many difficulties and persecution from people that surrounded the church.

They did all what they could to see that the church is no more in that area, they even go to the extent of an assassination attempt on the life of the beloved but God thwarted their plans by turning the evils they planned against us over to them, and this is how we started experiencing diverse confrontation from different angles until June 2001 – 2002 Pastor went to the mountain and God appeared to him, that what we went through, when the house of the Lord was demolished would not be termed as mourning period, but He that called him has changed it to Purim that is the day of mourning turned to the day of Joy and celebration in the way and manner, that He (God) did for the Jews in the land of Shusan Esther 9:22 that is how the Purim celebration came into existence, and it will continue till the second coming of Christ.
